In the event of a suspicious fire or arson fire, people who have information are urged to call Rochester Crime Line at 335-6500. Cash awards of up to $1000.00 may be claimed , depending on the severity of the fire. Remember that all calls to the crime line are anonymous. They do not ask your name but rather will give you a number. If the information that you give is found to be helpful in solving a crime they will, in one of their ads, have the number listed and then that person is to call back and set up a way in which the money may be given to that person.

If someone is leery of calling the Rochester Crime Line number they may call the New Hampshire Arson Hotline at (1-800-400-3526) 24 hours a day. Once again this is an anonymous call. No rewards are associated with this call.
